"This guitar is 100% ALL ORIGINAL. Most importantly, the BLACK finish is original. The BLACK is on top of a Desert Sand finish which was sprayed over the ASH body. You will NEVER find another slab board era Strat in factory black. There are plenty of other custom color Strats available- but it will be extremely difficult to find a 1959/1960 Fender (insert any Fender model here) in BLACK! This guitar is unmolested with no modifications, breaks, nor repairs. The neck is all original with original Kluson tuners, Spaghetti logo, slab board fingerboard, and original frets. The back of the neck exhibits playing wear which has worn through the lacquer finish to the maple neck. The body is in beautiful cosmetic condition with very attractive weather checking identical to the weather checking found on the headstock. There is minimal belt buckle wear on the back of the body, some of which reveals the Desert Sand finish underneath. The pickguard is in perfect condition void of splits, breaks, cracks, and warping."
