1962 Fender Esquire

images via this auction

"This is an original 1962 Fender Esquire, the neck date is May 1962, the serial number is 91324. original wiring, pickups, screws, pickgaurd, neck, pickup selector switch, paint job, Olympic White alder body, volume and tone pots, tuners, neck plate, strap knobs and pickup cover... there are a couple of non original parts, as you can see in the pictures, the jack plate was replaced with one of the first Elektro Socket's by the guy who invented the part (I'm currently trying to track down the original jack part from the previous owner) also the volume and tone knobs were replaced at some point with what appears to be some old 1950's (?) car parts (Chevy headlamp knobs... anyone know?) either way they work well and add a unique flair to this guitar. This guitar nearly weighs in at 6.5 pounds."
