1969 Gibson Les Paul

images via this auction

"ALL original frets,T-Top pickups, bridge with bone saddles, tailpiece, pots, witchhat knobs, waffleback tuners, NO Made In USA stamp, NO volute, this is most likely a remnant from the 59 & 60's grail Paul blanks. ONE piece dead-straight mahogany neck, ONE piece mahogany body (NOT sandwich), pot code I can read is 137693X, untouched soldier joints, Sprague caps, diagonal routes through body, open "b" and "o" in Gibson logo on headstock, thin binding in cutaway, this guitar was originally a Black Beauty but factory refinished in 1982 at Gibson factory at request of original owner. If she was still black, she'd be worth $12-15K.... "
