1961 GIBSON ES-355 TD

via this auction
"This particular example was factory equipped with all of the 1960 features such as: factory original Grover Rotomatic Tuners instead of Kluson's, a Bigsby tailpiece, instead of the Gibson Sideways Vibrato, and no wire ABR-1 Tune-o-matic bridge. This RARE special order and much more desirable MONO model that lacks the Stereo features, Varitone switch, electronics, and chokes that an ES-335 TDSV, ES 345 TD(SV), or ES 355 TDSV have making them heavier. The pot date was 134 6028, (July 1X, 1960) & stamped BA-811 1053 500K C2, on All pots when we removed the harness. It is also factory equipped with the desirable Sprauge Black Beauty tone caps instead of the ceramic disks the Stereo models have.

The original Cherry finish is exceptionally strong and not faded.

We would rate this guitar as 9/10 or excellent. We have seen these as high as the $35 K range.

The neck width is 1 10/16" wide at nut"
