1961 Fender Precision P-Bass

"The Real deal - 1961 (Pre CBS) P-Bass, neck is dated 8/01/1961 which coincides with serial # on neck plate - Body was stripped to Natural back in the 70's, original Candy apple Red paint over spray can still be seen in neck pocket, frets are in great shape & appear to be original as are the Pickups, knobs, Pickguard, Bridge, keys & Pots, original case & Chrome "ash trays" are included. The Neck is straight as an arrow & the Tone is absolutely Beyond words."

Couldn't be the original pickguard if it was originally Candy Apple Red. Custom colors featured mint green guards in the early to mid 60s . The only choices for tortise would be Sunburst, black or Olympic White.
