"Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings throughout. Some cracks in the body binding & a small piece missing around the lower part of the body (see photos). Some really gorgeous patina in the champagne sparkle along the edges.

Neck: Slender mahogany neck with cream-colored binding & red micro-dot side-markers. Ebony fingerboard with pearloid thumbnail fret markers. Original frets are in great shape with no wear. Bound headstock with ebony overlay & pearloid Gretsch logo. Original Kluson Deluxe nickel tuners in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width - original nut.

Body: Double-cutaway, semi-hollow mahogany body with champagne sparkle top. Four-ply top binding (b/w/b/w). Burns Pat. App. tremolo bridge with black handle & Gretsch logo. Floating Space Control bridge with rosewood base. Gold pickguard with Gretsch logo. A little bit of the gold is turning green on the top edge, very similar to the greening effect seen on older Gibson Goldtop models - very cool! A lot of the gold hardware has tarnished, but that just adds to the vintage charm. The back pad has lost its vinyl top, but the under-cloth is still present & all the snaps are there as well.

Pickups: Original Gretsch FilterTron humbuckers. Bridge - 4.92K ohms; Neck - 5.03K ohms. Master volume control with individual pickup volume controls - all three knobs are original with the "G" Arrow emblem. Single standby switch; 3-way pickup selector & 3-way tone selector switches."
