"Here we have a great 1965 Fender Stratocaster in Sunburst. This guitar did get played. The neck on this guitar is very comfortable and the action is nice and low. The original tuners and the truss rod work as intended. The guitar has been professionally refretted with the proper size frets and they have plenty of meat left on them. The finger board has some wear but plays great. The neck date reads Sept 65 B.

The body shows some of the scars of a life of rock ‘n’ roll. There are some scratches and dents, some patches of missing finish on the edge, and a small ½” x ¼” divot just below the output jack. The three-ply pickguard has no cracks but it’s what’s under the pickguard the really rocks the house. The three grey bobbin pickups read 5.90 k ohms for the bridge pickup, 6.12 k ohms for the middle pickup, and 5.72 k ohms for the neck pickup, all measured at the output jack. The electronics are untouched as well and all three potentiometer codes read the 32nd week of 1965.

This 1965 Sunburst Stratocaster weighs in at 7 lbs 4 oz and will be shipped in its black tolex case. She will be professionally packed with care."
