1959 Fender Stratocaster

via this auction where you'll find more pics.

"1959 Fender Stratocaster in vibrant Sunburst finish and Maple Fingerboard, with original and SUPER CLEAN hardshell TWEED case, matching neck and body dates of 3/1959, serial number 363XX. This 1959 maple neck Strat has been owned by the same gentleman since 1969! Overall excellent condition. All parts and electronics are original to the guitar - though there is a small rout for a mini-switch underneath the pickguard (see photo) and a small patched hole above it in the original single-ply 8 screw pickguard - and all three original black-bottom pickups have been professionally rewound. The sound is TOPS. These original pickups sound amazing - and really bring out that classic 50s 'maple neck' tone. She weighs 7 pounds 6 ounces and is super comfortable to hold, wear, and play. The original frets have some wear - grooving - around the first 5 frets or so, but it looks like just from playing chords, mostly. Otherwise, lots of life left. There is attractive finish checking throughout - both the body and fingerboard - and some fingerboard wear - but it's all appropriate given the age of the guitar. Original tremolo arm and backplate still attached..."
