1968 FENDER PINK PAISLEY

via this auction where you'll find more pics.

"No issues, 100% original. Not a reissue. No modifications. All parts are there. Nothing missing. OHSC included. Strong unfaded color. The photos tell the story...

This forty-four year old Pink Paisley Telecaster® Bass weighs just an amazing featherweight 8 lbs 2.5 oz. This bass is incredibly resonant acoustically. It sounds amazing unplugged. That resonance follows through to the amplifier. Solid alder body with the very rare Pink Paisley finish. One-piece fretted maple neck with 20 frets and black dot position markers. The neck is stamped "23 OCT 68 C." Single-coil gray-bottom pickup with four pole pieces and an output of 6.8k. Original clear plexiglass pickguard with eleven screws. Combined two-saddle bridge/tailpiece. Complete with the two original pickup and bridge covers. There are a few small cracks in the polyester clear coat as usual - but there is none of the "peeling" of the 'wall-paper' finish that is so often associated with this model. This guitar is a great example in exceptionally fine (9.00) condition of one of these very rare basses. Housed in the original Fender® black hardshell case..."
