GIBSON Les Paul Standard

via this auction where you'll find more pics.

"VINTAGE CIRCA1952 GIBSON LES PAUL GOLDTOP STANDARD. THE NECK IS STRAIGHT AND THE ACTION NICE. THE GUITAR SOUNDS SPECTACULAR WITH A VERY WOODY TONE, VERY RESONANT AND LIVELY AS YOU WOULD EXPECT FROM 60 YEAR OLD MAHOGANY AND MAPLE. BEFORE I PURCHASED IT, THE GUITAR WAS REFINISHED, RE-FRETTED, CONVERTED FROM TRAPEZE TO STOP TAILPIECE. THERE WERE HUMBUCKERS IN THE GUITAR AT SOME POINT AND THEN REPLACED WITH VINTAGE P-90'S. THE BRAZILIAN ROSEWOOD FINGERBOARD HAS MINIMAL WEAR AND THE FRETS ARE IN GREAT CONDITION. THERE MAY HAVE BEEN A NECK- HEADSTOCK REPAIR AND NECK RESET AT SOME BUT I AM NOT CERTAIN. THE KNOBS, INPUT JACK PLATE APPEAR ORIGINAL. THE PICK-GUARD, TUNERS AND BACK CONTROL COVERS ARE NEWER. THE WIRING HARNESS, POTS AND CAPS ARE OLD BUT MAY NOT BE ORIGINAL. SOME OF THE POTS ARE A BIT SCRATCHY. THE GUITAR IS LIGHT AT 8 LBS. 2 OZ. THIS IS A FABULOUS LES PAUL."
