This beautiful no issues example is in near pristine all original condition. It exhibits virtually no playing wear, barely any edge/case wear, the most insignificant of several pressure marks (the faintest indication of worming) on the back of the body, the usual finish chipping near the nut on the side of the neck over the binding, and usual patina on some of the gold-plated metal hardware. Crisp and clean in general, the finish has attractively faded to an absolute gorgeous cream color.

This incredibly well-preserved specimen has never been modified, broken, repaired nor restored. Every part is original to the guitar, and it is perfect for the most particular of collectors. Elegant and timeless, the SG Custom has been owned and played by the likes of Mary Ford to Jimi Hendrix.

The neck features an exceptional shallow D-shape profile, and also has original factory "fretless wonder" small frets with very minimal evidence of playing wear. There is very minmal weather-checking on the guitar, and most of the finish remains weather-checking free. All of the electronics are original, as are the corresponding solder joints.

Everything about this guitar is great, and the tone is undeniable. This very light example only weighs less 7.5 lbs! With resonane that vibrates in your hands, this SG will complement any amp. Now is the time to get a great deal on vintage PAF Gibson guitars, especially this one. Early-60s SGs are incredible bargains at the moment, so hurry before they go up in value again!.."
