1956 Fender Telecaster Left Handed

via this auction

"Rare. This word gets thrown around quite a lot in the vintage guitar world. But really, how rare are most of these instruments people call “rare”? Well my friends, I would go as far as to call this one rare. Here we have a left handed 1956 Fender Telecaster, one of only a handful ever made in the 50s. This guitar has a 7/54 body date, 7/55 neck date, and pots dated to 1956. The only other example we have seen from the 50s similar date set-up. With the exception of a very well executed body refin this Telecaster appears all original with a fantastic feeling soft V neck shape and nice and clear pickups. Comes with the original tweed left handed case and guitar strap….. Go find another one!

Year: 1956.

Model: Telecaster

Serial: 1975.

Finish: Blonde refin.

Case: Original hardshell case.

Weight: 6 pounds 14 ounces.

Condition: Very good. Some dings and dents, neck has aged nicely.

Modifications: Professional refin. Otherwise original.

Comments: Rare and cool left handed mid 50s Fender Telecaster."
