Fender JAZZ Bass Alpine White Custom Color Headstock Lefty

via this auction

"Fender USA Custom Color Lefty Jazz Bass from 1966/67. Rare little bird here with "rarely seen" Oval Fender Tuning Machines, Block inlay, bound neck & nice "Custom" Alpine White finish with Matching Head stock. Neck feels good & looks good with minimal wear. This bass came to owner with Fender Flat wound strings, and since then has been fitted with GHS Flat wound strings. This bass has probably never seen a RoundWound string in her 46 or so years of life. Overall cosmetics are very nice for a bass of this age. Selling this for a Lefty Bass player friend. He has owned this since October 28th of 2000. At this time he bought this nice all original from the very reputable "The Guitar Broker" in Florida. He has not used this out live, but only in select studio sessions. One COOL Feature on this is the LEFT HANDED CASE which is not much more than moving the accessory pocket, but none the less is not something seen that often...
