1969 Gibson Les Paul Custom Black

via this auction

"Here's a 1969 Gibson Les Paul Custom in a factory original Gloss Black finish. It has no breaks or repairs and has about average playwear. The serial number is 894841, and there's no "Made In USA" stamp- indicative of pre-1970. It has a 2 below the serial number. The top has some finish cracks and checking- but the finish is 100% all original and unaltered. The back has average playear with finish checking, dings and scratches.

3 of the 4 pots are original and date to 1969. The Gibson Patent sticker pickups are original and they sound really nice. The neck is straight and the frets are original.

It has just been deep cleaned and detailed. The front, back, sides and neck were waxed and buffed with a high grade carnuba wax. The fingerboard was cleaned, buffed and moisturized with an instrument grade lemon oil. It was set up with 10/46's, adjusted and plays very nicely. All the electronics were tested and cleaned and they work well.

The guitar has a slim 60's style neck. Please take a look at all the pictures- they accurately represent the cosmetic condition. Comes with a vintage hardshell case..."
