Vintage Alembic instrument #73 45 six string prototype guitar

via this auction

"Offered is a 1 of a kind 1973 Alembic 6 string guitar ... the 45th instrument ever made by the Wickershams that had a number on it. I had Alembic replace any of the electronics that weren't working properly about 5 years ago. All electronics work perfectly to original factory specifications. I have also included an original box with cable that receives the signal from the guitars 5pin output jack and boosts and splits the stereo signal into their respective channels through 2 1/4 inch jacks. The box came with an early 70's series 1 bass I owned. The guitar has has a multi selector switch, 2 volume and 2 tone knobs along with phase? selectors for each channel . The small reostats are attenuators that regulate the amount of attenuation in the volume knobs (I think) . The guitar is all original with exception of the factory replaced elecrtronics which included new pick-ups and the non original add on ebony pick guard.
The woods are obviously from the 70's and not all are still available ...it seems to be made of the following (Alembic could varify this) : Ebony fingerboard with abalone oval markers, neck maple and purple heartwood (possibly 1 more inthe center), body vermillion?, top laminate walnut?, headstock top laminate ? coca bola , back laminate looks to be walnut.
Thee guitar comes with a deluxe custom road case . A $400 value.."
